Sales Manager ISV - DACH

Scandit is currently seeking a Sales Manager, ISV – DACH Region. Based in Germany or Switzerland, you will be a key part of our sales team, offering Scandit’s disruptive Mobile Data Capture and Computer Vision Technology to Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) in industries such as Retail, Transportation / Logistics, Manufacturing and other verticals. You are a high-performing professional who is motivated to join a fast-growing and dynamic high-tech company to generate new business from new customers in the DACH Region.

What you will do



  • Achieve business results and generate recurring revenue streams by positioning Scandit as a leader in our industry, offering our unique and value-added technology

  • Identify, recruit and sell Scandit software to target ISVs in each key industry

  • Cooperate with direct sales team in the region to deploy the most effective sales strategy and to achieve the best possible market coverage

  • Leverage your industry contacts to accelerate sales

  • Effectively utilize resources to reach and identify prospects for contact

  • Provide input to sales, business, and product development plans

  • Schedule face-to-face contact with current or prospective buyers on a regular basis

  • Stay current on market and industry conditions, needs and competitor strategies, goals and approaches

  • Develop and maintain a strong working proficiency of Scandit solutions


Who you are



  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Enterprise Software or ISV-focused sales required, mobile and or SaaS solutions sales experience a must

  • Experience selling to key product decision makers for ISVs focused on Retail, Transport/ Logistics, Manufacturing and other target verticals

  • Strong analytical skills, including market strategy, customer requirements and success factors, and a value-based selling process / business development experience, business case, value justification, custom go-to-market strategy

  • Experience with selling within channel - selling a software to other software companies that offers significant value to their end customers

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creation of convincing and strategic sales approach, proposal, documentation and presentation

  • Strong understanding of industry trends, key players, terminology and overall economics of the marketplace (SaaS, Mobile)

  • Ability to publicly represent Scandit with internal and external customers, and at events and seminars

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, or a similar discipline.

  • Fluency in German and English (any other major European language would be a benefit)

  • Travel as required (25-50%)
