which is willing to travel frequently to the US. This newly created function reports to the Head of the UHPC Division and will be heavily involved in assisting the Project Manager in planning and managing surface construction projects from conception to completion.
Specific Responsibilities• Collaborates with Project Manager in the development and modification of the Project Execution Plan (preparation of construction schedules, budgets and resources for projects)
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure that deadlines are met for projects
• Manage the day-to-day activities of the construction site, ensuring that the project moves forward in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Planning of resources and manpower on site
• Provide updates to the Project Manager as it relates to cost, schedule and client management, estimates cost of materials, labor and use of equipment required to fulfill provisions of contract
• Coordinate Subcontractors on site
• Support Management team in the acquisition of new projects
Qualifications• 5+ years of construction experience
• Hydro-demolition and/or concrete paving and/or bridge rehabilitation heavily preferred
• Understanding of cost control and schedule management
• High level of fairness, honesty and integrity
• Strong written communication and oral skills in English
• Willing to work in an international construction company and team
• Detailed technical know-how and experience in the field of construction
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills
• Mainly work in the New York Area, but willing to travel to manage other construction sites in the US
