Job purpose:


 


In this position you will be the key link for developing new business opportunities for one of the biggest companies in the world. You will beresponsible for supporting and developing winning business propositions within diverse fast-paced environment.


 


Key activities:


 



  • Engage in opportunities early on enabling appropriate information flows and proactive preparations;

  • Through guidance and coaching support account managers to benefit from existing structures, processes and best practices;

  • Evaluate opportunities and make qualification recommendations;

  • Understand the complexity of customer’s requirements, needs and desired outcomes;

  • Facilitate and articulate response strategy;

  • Lead and manage incoming tenders, work together with relevant stakeholders in preparing, finalizing and delivering complete, timely and compelling tender responses;

  • Ensure customer’s needs and requirements are assessed and responded to appropriately;

  • Manage and drive alignment internally, connect key contributors;

  • Support, facilitate and drive compelling narratives and/or executive summaries;

  • Follow up on submitted bids to understand and record the project outcome;

  • Ensure timely and smooth project hand-overs;

  • Initiate and facilitate internal and external debriefs;

  • Record learnings and drive corrective actions;

  • Keep up to date with relevant offerings and market intelligence;

  • Develop and maintain strong relationship with relevant stakeholders.


 


Key Requirements:


 



  • Proven project management Skills;

  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken);

  • Excellent analytical skills;

  • Thorough understanding of the logistics business;

  • Ability to comprehend the bigger picture;

  • Demonstrates “can do” attitude;

  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple manner;

  • A team player who can work collaboratively across business units/functions and in a multi-cultural environment;

  • University degree, equivalent professional diploma or experience in relevant field;

  • Good sales skills;

  • Prior experience in competitive RFQ environment would be an advantage.
