Main Purpose of the Role:

To provide piano lessons after school to the CdL Students enrolled in the CdL music programmes

Key Responsibilities :

• Tutor students from age 7 - 18, skills and musicianship on piano.


• Encourage and engage students in progressive practice habits, liaising with parents and boarding tutors.


• Teach all aspects of musicianship, including scales/arpeggios, aural, sight reading and repertoire. 


• Accompany other instrumentalists in the Extra Curricular programme, occasionally


• Take responsibility for teaching ABRSM piano practical exams.


• Other duties as assigned (please leave this in on all job descriptions)

Skills and Competencies:

Enthusiasm

Good interpersonal skills

Excellent communication skills  

Languages required : Advanced English required, good French would be an advantage.
