Your Profile



  • Degree in electrical engineering (ETH/technical university/university of applied sciences)

  • A minimum of two years' experience in hardware and firmware development (C/C++)

  • Good technical knowledge of circuit design (analog and embedded systems)

  • A self-starter who enjoys working with internal customers


Your Responsibilities

At Sensirion, you will encounter an array of versatile and challenging tasks. With a high level of latitude in your responsibilities, you bring customer requirements together with the various departments at Sensirion. Your future colleague, Daniel (R&D Engineer), describes his day-to-day work below.

What are the specific tasks?

My main task is hardware and firmware development for the testing and calibration of our sensors and modules. The expansion of our testing platform includes hardware development, ranging from the concept study in close collaboration with our product groups, the design of prototypes, through to the product launch. My diverse tasks also include writing firmware in C++ and advising the various departments on matters concerning electronics and firmware.

The interdisciplinary contact with project managers, R&D engineers from our product groups and process engineers working in production is very interesting and challenging. Our dynamic and flexible work environment offers plenty of freedom and independence, requiring us to take on a great deal of responsibility and learn new things every day.
