We have a fantastic opportunity to join a high performing team for as the EU Global Data Synchronization Manager, reporting directly to the Global Data Synchronization Sr. Mgr. This role will be based out of our J&J Supply Chain offices in Zug, Switzerland. This role currently has no direct reports and is a new position.


Initial work is focused on UK’s  National Health Services (NHS), J&J’s largest customer in UK, has a commercial compliance 4-year project that began 2017.


You will be responsible to manage and drive GS1’s Global Data Synchronization compliance for the UK’s NHS as well as other markets requests for product data delivery within Europe. This will mean working with a range of teams including vendors, team members from IT, multiple functional representatives, and align with Global Data Synchronization team members and from the operating companies. All work will be focused from an enterprise approach for J&J via the Global Data Synchronization team.


What you’ll own and how you’ll grow: 


This role really offers you the opportunity to drive the GDSN programme across these markets whilst growing your network of contacts.  You will work with all our sectors which include medical device, consumer and pharma.  You will have the opportunity to work closely with regional Regulatory Affairs associates, Global Supply Chain Master Data and more to help drive activities needed to meet and maintain customer requests with project milestones while working from the enterprise approach.


In addition, this work will include direct data work in to often produce results for customers.

Qualifications


What you’re great at: 


 


You will be a strong, level headed, project manager whom leading and influencing is second nature in this diverse healthcare industry.  Driving collaboration and holding people accountable will be high on your priorities. To gain buy-in from the various medical device companies, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially as there will be a lot of virtual working with this role.


 


You will also work to grow adoption and usage of the GS1 standards and the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN) in the UK and EU markets in our Consumer, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical segments. You will also be great at Change Management and developing appropriate processes and documentations to support multiple market requests leveraging enterprise best practices and global standards. Understanding the current demands for digital product data is driving more customers to request.


BE VITAL: 


You will hold a Bachelor’s degree, and an MBA would be an advantage. You will have demonstrated experience of managing projects with cross functional teams which include a technology component. Having a naturally strong drive and passion to empower others to deliver will help you succeed in this role. In addition, you’ll leverage your ability to influence across many roles to ensure best practices. And, to create and maintain metrics and upstream communications.  


Preferred experience/Qualifications would include:



  • Working experience with GS1 standards, and the GDSN in a global environment

  • Demonstrated knowledge of key project management technologies (such as MS Project, Sharepoint)

  • Experience of interfacing with internal and external customers, industry organization, and regulatory agencies

  • Working expertise to manipulate, manage and work with Excel to deliver product data, when appropriate

  • Experience working with multiple operating companies within Johnson & Johnson is preferred.

  • Great written and verbal communications
