Advanced Accelerator Applications is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).Job DescriptionAAA is looking for a Global Head HEOR (health economic & outcomes research) to be based in Geneva, Switzerland. This position will report to the Global Head of Market Access. The Global head of HEOR will both support products in development and products in launch phase or already marketed. This person will be responsible for developing and implementing the HEOR strategies for those products. This person will not have any direct reports to start with, but this may evolve in the future.



Main tasks:

•Develop HE&OR plan for program/brand that will generate evidence to support program/brand value proposition

•Drive health economics plan to deliver economic evidence required globally and at country level to support therapeutic value proposition and reimbursement decision

•Translates clinical endpoints into economic benefits relevant for payers and other decision-makers.

•Major driver of the process of identifying the potential economic profile of a drug in a defined disease area at an early development stage in order to support research prioritization and development decisions

•Provide strategic input into the clinical development program and product’s lifecycle for optimal market access and maintenance of access, suggests clinical trial designs and treatment strategies to optimize clinical outcomes for payers and providers

•Proactively assess opportunities to strengthen economic value package for programs and brands throughout the lifecycle

•Develop innovative ways to position and support products from HE&OR perspective for payers and other healthcare decision-makers.

•Generate and publish HE&OR data which optimally support reimbursement ulary access in key markets and lifecycle management of AAA products

•Manage the efficient and timely provision of key HE&OR deliverables (Value Dossier, c/e models, publications, and database analyses) for market access purposes of responsible programs/brands,

•Develop value demonstration and value communication materials and support their local adaptations for reimbursement ulary negotiations

•Liaise across functions on market access, pricing & reimbursement and registration (for Patient Reported Outcomes) evidence requirements to provide strategic input across the product lifecycle in order to optimize product utilization.

•Leverage internal partner functions (e.g., Econ Modeling, Analytics and Evidence review teams) to optimize development of timely evidence.

•Partner with key HE&OR Key Opinion Leader's and HTA decision makers in order to best understand evidence needs for in healthcare systems around the world Manage allocation and execution of HE&OR budgeting process; follow internal policie.Minimum requirements• Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience within pharmaceutical industry / consultancy / public health sector including a minimum of 5 years’ experience within HEOR .

• Additional experience within market access or HTA functions is strongly preferred

• Highly effective communication skills with ability to explain HE&OR concepts, methods, and results to key internal stakeholders.

• Demonstrated history of developing impactful HE&OR strategies to meet payer and HTA evidence needs.

• Expert experience in tactical application of health economics & outcomes research and information at the disease and product level.

• Substantial knowledge about global health care system and pricing & reimbursement decision making across multiple geographies. Excellent leadership, networking and influencing skills.

• Significant understanding of drug development process and experience with providing HEOR input into the development programs of drugs in early development phase
