WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Your main duties will include the following:
- Advising & setting standards for developing highly skilled real estate capabilities
- Supporting the brands by providing transparency and market intelligence about our existing store portfolio and external retail property insights
- Establishing and maintaining a key account relationship with global/major accounts
- Providing guidelines, tools and standards as to the lease and rent negotiation and implementing them in the Distribution & Real Estate community
- Managing the company’s POP portfolio and continuously determining the most adequate and strongest store and property portfolio
- Supporting the Distribution Development Team and markets in creating and implementing a long-term distribution master plan
- Fostering cross-cultural and cross-team cooperation to ensure an aligned brand experience for our customers in every retail location and guarantee on-time implementation and roll-out of new stores and refurbishments
- Developing and maintaining strong strategic alliances and networks with external business partners to successfully gain and utilize external data to enable us to take the right decisions
- Identifying and negotiating strategic real estate deals and framework agreements to expand the brand’s distribution in line with the long-term retail real estate expansion strategy
- Coordinating all legal documents in relation with key account framework agreements to support the store portfolio and expansion strategy by strongly communicating and interacting with the Swarovski Legal department and the lease administration
WHAT WE EXPECT
We are looking for a motivated team-player, who brings along the following background:
- Completed university education in a relevant field, preferrably Business Economics
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a similar position
- Proven track record in the Real Estate / (retail) property, lease or rental sector
- High level of sensitivity for brand management and aesthetics for a global consumer brand
- Good business acumen with solid process reliability and cost sensitivity
- Strong consumer orientation
- Multicultural work experience and high level of social intelligence
- Excellent negotiating and networking skills, combined with good coordinating, challenging and persuading skills to ensure best results
- Strong lateral leadership qualities and management skills
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written), German, French or Spanish an advantage
