The laboratory of Prof. Oliver Mühlemann at the University of Bern, Switzerland
(muehlemann.dcb.unibe.ch/) has an opening for a new Ph.D. student. The laboratory is associated with
the Swiss national research center for RNA & Disease (www.nccr-rna-and-disease.ch) and the starting
date is upon mutual agreement.
We are looking for a top motivated young scientist with a sound theoretical and practical background in
biochemistry, molecular and cell biology and with a passion for RNA biology. Basic skills in bioinformatics
would be a plus.
We offer the opportunity to work in a scientifically thriving environment and to develop an internationally
competitive research project in the field of post-transcriptional gene regulation. The successful candidate will
join the RNA biology Ph.D. program (www.nccr-rna-and-disease.ch/tiki-index.php?page=PhDOverview).
