Strategic Procurement Engineer

for Engineering Plastics Technology

YOUR MISSION

• Develop competitive engineered solutions to customer specifications and requirements using products and services provided by Angst+Pfister for a wide customer range and industry range.


• Develop, introduce and implement strategic process in your unit


• Develop concepts and strategies for procurement optimization


• Conduct strategic procurement projects


• Work on defined benchmark projects of your product groups


• Identify and implement cost saving potentials


• Conduct complex negotiations with supply-chain partners

YOU ARE

A natural negotiator with a solid technical background: You love to bargain, you don’t let go on a project and you’re keen to aim for best results and prices. You are a good communicator and a team player.

You have a technical higher education and are interested in the field of procurement or supply-chain. Any knowledge about Engineering Plastics Technology is a plus.

You are fluent in English and proficient in German, with any additional language being a plus.

This position requires a proactive, self-driven and persuasive personality whose analytical way of thinking convinces suppliers as well as internal sales members.

You have proven your stamina in times of high pressure and intensity without losing your focus.

You are eager to learn on the job and to travel (10%).
