A Typical Day Will Include:


As a Quality Compliance & Systems Lead, working in the European Quality Team, you will Provide Regional Leadership and strategic direction across the network:



  • Engaging and monitoring global external landscape utilizing technical expertise to assure

    compliance with external Regulatory and Quality Compliance trends


  • Acting as a key partner for the Manufacturing Site and the Commercial organization, creating clear processes that assure ongoing GMP compliance

  • Leading and developing sustainable processes to assure ongoing regional Quality & Compliance KPI performance

  • Engaging with Global Quality Organizations (e.g. Global Quality Compliance and Systems,

    corporate Auditing function) to assure governance and improve site capability


  • Support the implementation of  Global Quality Systems across the Site and Commercial organization

  • Living Takeda’s values (Takeda-isms) and promoting its Quality Culture

  • Managing the performance and development of the local teams, creating an environment that allows people to thrive and move the organization forward

  • Contributes to processes run via the Takeda Pharmaceutical international Zurich (TPIZ) legal entity


Be empowered to:



  • Ensuring an open and transparent environment ensuring immediate notification, management and prevention of critical quality issues

  • Ensuring proper deployment of Takeda Quality Management System, ensuring inspection readiness and no critical observations during inspections

  • Closely collaboration with Global Quality Organizations, including Commercial Quality Heads on quality decisions and people selection

  • Establishing processes to assure ongoing GMP compliance with external and internal requirements as well as current trends; Includes networking across internal organizations as well as external collaborations

  • Engaging in professional bodies to ensure a strong Takeda profile in forums within the Pharma Industry

  • Leading/supporting global & regional Quality programs and processes as needed

  • Driving Quality Culture across the organization

  • Promoting talent development by living Takeda’s Leadership Behaviors, Takeda-isms and through frequent Quality Conversations


Qualifications:



  • Scientific or engineering graduate (BSc, MSc, PhD)

  • 15 years of combined experience with steadily increasing leadership responsibilities, including a strong Technical Operations background

  • Experience in Pharmaceutical Operations, Supply Chain management and Quality Systems

  • Extensive global pharmaceutical industry knowledge and European / FDA regulations



  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential problems and risks related to Global Quality

    Systems expectations and regulatory compliance with ability to formulate action plans

    and implement solutions




  • Robust experience in working with Commercial teams and building cross-functional relationships

  • Demonstrated experience in leading global change in an international environment



  • Very strong ability to manage and drive change

  • Patient and customer-centric with service orientation

  • Proven leadership and ability to work well with cross-functional teams to accomplish

    Objectives


  • Ability to focus on few key priorities and demonstrate strategic enterprise thinking

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

  • Desire to put people first and demonstrate the values of Takeda-ism

  • Ability to take on a high degree of international travel – up to 40% of the time

  • Must hold a Swiss work permit or an EU Passport
