Quality Engineer

What you will do



In this exciting role you ensures that new products are developed and documented according to Tecan processes, to our highest quality standards and compliant with global regulations.

Responsibilities will include

• Support and guide multiple development projects from design to market introduction


• Ensure that the design verification and validation of new products as well as the production line processes are executed and documented according to ISO 13485/IVD/QSR requirements


• Continuously strive to optimize our processes, SOPs and all related documents to improve our product quality


• lead document reviews and implement regulatory requirements


• Training your colleagues from different departments about quality, regulatory and process requirements

What you bring along

• To be successful in this role you will preferably hold a degree in technical or life sciences


• You bring at least five years of experience with a track record in a similar position in design control for the medical device industry


• Application/ reagent knowledge is a plus


• Quality education (Q-technician or QMS) and thorough knowledge about IVD regulations, ISO13485 & QSR requirements


• Strong organizational skills in relation to managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines


• The ability to work accurately and autonomously


• Fluent in both German and English


• Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy working independently as well as part of a team
