Global Marketing Segment Leader (m/f/d) Crop Solutions

We are looking for a leader who has a strategic mindset and a vision for the Crop industry, able to accelerate growth by leveraging an ex-tensive toolbox and products portfolio that includes a game changing subset of disruptive innovations.


Responsibilities

  • Develop global segment strategy with focus on midterm aspiration

  • Operationalize into a strategic execution plan with concrete actions and measures specific for all regions

  • Shape the segment council to follow through on execution and use it as a core decision body for innovation implementation, customers joint development agreements and competitive defense strategy

  • Challenge regions’ 5-year plans with analytical market intelligence, bring out insights and use them to build our differentiation

  • Identify new application and/or service needs within the segment

  • Give input into the product innovation roadmap and pipeline

  • Manage the roll-out of new global technologies and products

  • Guide and advise in actual sales activities, e.g. tender/bids, on-site visits

  • Advise on strategic commercial investments, e.g. systems, tools, vendors


Requirements

  • An agronomy degree in combination with an MBA or advanced degree in strategic marketing or a technical background in agronomy or chemicals, completed with analytical marketing skills in both a B2B environment and

  • Experience in the crop protection industry of more than 10 years, especially working for or with a global key player

  • Commercial progressive leadership in B2B marketing; a balance practice of all marketing disciplines; product management, strategy design, value based positioning,

  • Global experience and focal leadership of regional implementation of innovations

  • Organize participation and potential presentations in scientific and applied symposia

  • Contribute globally in the coordination of field trials on our innovations

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus.
