The ideal candidate will assume the following key responsibilities:
Leading the operations teams (Settlements, Payments, Corporate Actions, Banking Relations, Reconciliation, Fund Depot Bank, Asset Master Data and Account Opening) with 18 Specialists
Continuously ensure operations, support and develop key people
Controlling of all outsourced back-office related activities with the external partner Avaloq Sourcing
Handle mid- and back-office related projects of the bank, including the booking of crypto assets, MiFID/ FINFRAG implementation, business process management & directives for Operations and the Operations Key Business User functions
Main contact person for all mid- and back-office related audits
The preferred skills for this position include:
Bank apprenticeship and further education (Bachelor/Master degree) in Economics, Finance or similar
Minimum 5 years of banking experience in a leadership role (back- or mid-office)
In depth know how of products (equities, bonds, derivatives, FX, etc.)
Sound MS Office skills, Avaloq knowledge is necessary
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
Self-driven innovation promoter with strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
