About the role


As our Executive VP of Sales, you directly report to our CEO Andreas Brenner, you lead our sales team of 19 employees and you are responsible for further developing and scaling our sales organization.


You actively contribute to the development of annual company budgets and ensure the sales organization delivers against those targets through effective sales organization design, forecasting, monitoring, hiring and training.


As a true leader, you inspire your team and ensure we continue to be a fast paced, pragmatic learning environment, where employees are engaged and thrive to naturally over deliver on targets.


You build out a second layer management team to support you in scaling the sales organization. Scaling the sales organization is a process of constant change, throughout which you ensure continued sales performance and alignment with the company’s vision and strategy.


You closely collaborate with our product, marketing and customer success teams to make sure we continue improving our growth efficiency while we also keep providing best customer experience to our customers.


You are the face of the company for our largest customers and are able to build and maintain long term relationships based on mutual trust and unparalleled customer success.


You regularly present of our accomplishments and our long-term strategy at investor and board meetings.


What you will accomplish


By the end of 2019, with your team, you will have established Avrios as the market leading fleet management company in our current key markets, you will also have established presence in at least one additional geography.


You will have successfully scaled the sales organization to 3x the current size.


Our cost of acquisition per vehicle will have significantly improved because, together with our Head of Marketing, you rigorously test and improve marketing and sales efficiency.


Your deep customer and market insights will have contributed to at least one transformational feature of Avrios platform and will have contributed to hundreds of small improvements to the ongoing product roadmap


Requirements



  • You have successfully led the scaling of a B2B SaaS sales team in a 100%+ growth environment before.

  • You are IT savvy. You believe in SaaS. You are a KPI fanatic. You are familiar with common SaaS performance metrics and have experience in managing a sales organization against CaC:LTV and other important efficiency metrics.

  • You have a good understanding of the dynamics in the mobility & automotive industries because you either are passionate about it, or because have worked in this space before.

  • You are passionate about making customers successful and have a ‘whatever it takes attitude’ to ensure your customers are the most successful ones

  • You are equally passionate about your team and go out of your way to help your team grow as individuals and as professionals. You are able to build and lead a team that is capable of explaining a technology product to a technically less fluent audience.

  • While you love to develop your team, you are equally eager to develop yourself as a professional, a leader and a person.

  • You thrive and remain agile in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You are disciplined about implementing and following process but in case of doubt, put results over process

  • You possess excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and in German. Any additional language is a plus.

  • You are willing to travel and build presence in neighbouring countries
