The MALDI Biotyper, known throughout the microbiology-related industries, is our workhorse for identification of bacteria, fungi and yeast. Besides our well known MALDI solutions, we are increasing our capability in resistance and AST testing as well as PCR.

As we are expanding our Microbiology & Diagnostics team in the MEA-region, we are looking for a new team player!

Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

As a Microbiology Sales Specialist, your main responsibilities will be to maintain the relationship with our existing customers and find new customers in the clinical & industrial markets.

Specifically, your tasks will include:

• Qualifying potential sales leads by discussion with and understanding of the customer’s needs


• Contributing to marketing activities such as composing advertisements and mailings


• Giving support at arranging exhibitions and seminars at conferences


• Arranging and hosting demonstrations in Switzerland and Austria


• Generating quotations and handling relevant EU tendering processes.


• Maintaining a relationship with existing customers and assisting in post-sale activities

Qualifikationen

• Masters or Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Life or Analytical Science (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or equivalent)


• Sales experience is essential


• Microbiology experience, either in clinical or industry is a must


• Some practical laboratory experience would be beneficial


• Well organized and able to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment


• Willingness to work with others toward a shared goal


• A high standard of a verbal and written German and English is a requirement


• Willingness and ability (no visa disqualification from the USA or EU) to travel internationally


• Valid Driver’s License
