For our Research & Development department at Datamars Switzerland (Lamone), we
are recruiting an

Electronic Technician or Jr Electronic Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As an electronics technician or Jr electronic engineer or even embedded SW
engineer, you will actively contribute to the sustaining and life-cycle management of
Datamars’ RFID readers. You play an active role in the customization activity of RFID
readers (both on the HW and FW sides) and you will support our production plants
on the industrialization process and daily manufacturing.
MAIN DUTIES
Responsible for the following tasks:

• Work in a team developing, maintaining and customizing RFID readers and
  transponders


• Design digital and analog schematics, layouts and optimisation of readers


• Integrate PCBA with mechanical parts


• Debug prototypes and pre-series


• Measure and test prototypes and pre-series


• Build and design test set-ups and prototypes environments


• Specify concept of functional tests for production and follow up


• Write documentation for production


• Implement product customization, both on the HW and FW sides,


• Support Supply chain on material procurement and second source validations


• Support production plants on assembly process and quality issues

REQUIREMENTS

• degree in electronics (technical diploma or BSc)


• 2 to 3 years’ working experience within R&D department


• Proven experience in analog and digital electronics design


• Knowledge of MATLAB for signal analysis


• Ability to design schematics with Altium EDA software tool would be an asset


• Knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers family would be an asset


• Knowledge of FW and SW programming would be an asset


• Team orientated and ability to work simultaneously on several tasks


• Pro-active and good communication skills


• Multi-tasked, well organized and meticulous


• Willingness to travel occasionally


• Good in English, written and spoken
