DevOps Engineer

About the role

As 1plusX grows larger and more mature, there is a need to continuously improve our infrastructure and security. In this role, you

• Setup and build processes that are easy to use for development and production, yet secure


• Setup and maintain infrastructure in our AWS environment using Terraform


• Tune our datastores like Couchbase, ElasticSearch, and Kafka


• Create and maintain monitoring and alerting for our production systems


• Optimize our continuous integration environment, manage our dependencies, and facilitate testing of our code


• Improve our deployment processes based on Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes

About you

• You have at least 2 years of experience in this field


• You have BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent


• You have a solid background in system security


• You can write code and scripts


• You tend to not do things manually more than twice – you would rather automate


• You love solving problems and digging deeper


• You are self-directed and hands-on


• You are able to communicate well in English
