Mission

• Manage relationships with IOC Recognised Federations and Organisations


• Coordinate and implement strategic projects in the Sports Department

Main responsibilities

Relations with Recognised IFs & Organisations (80% of time)

• Development of the communication strategy with the recognised IFs and Organisations following the Agenda 2020 recommendations


• Manage and oversee the strategic relationships with key IOC Recognised Organisations including implementation of action plans when required


• Support the implementation of initiatives involving key IOC Recognised Organisations


• Manage the relationships and communications/meetings with IOC Recognised Federations and Organisations, and attend agreed events


• Manage the IOC Recognition procedure and communications with non-recognised Federations and external stakeholders


• Develop and manage the budget for IOC Recognised IFs, Recognised Organisations and the IOC recognition procedure

Strategic Projects (20% of time)

• Support the Head of Winter Sports and IF Relations in the implementation of key strategic projects for the Sport Department (e.g. Gender Equality review recommendations, Transfer of Knowledge project, Sport presentation, sports experience and IF services model)


• Support the Winter sections in any projects related to the Sport delivery in the specific editions of the Olympic Winter games and Winter Youth Olympic games


• Back up of the Winter section projects if / when necessary

Education; language and IT competences

• Higher education qualification or equivalent (master’s/bachelor’s degree, Federal diploma, etc.) or equivalent professional experience


• 5 plus years’ experience of project management


• Demonstrated hands-on experience in the sports industry


• Demonstrated success with developing and maintaining relationships


• Highly proficient in spoken and written English and with good command of French. Any other language a plus

• Good command of Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and PowerPoint
