For this role we expect a dedicated ability to build relationships, strategic orientation and an excellent stakeholder management. The manager sales will work with all primes and frequent travelling is expected (homebase: Zürich).

Your responsibilities



  • Define and realize of growth strategy and sales targets

  • Plan and manage order intake, mid-range plan, prospects and sales pipeline

  • Identify and follow emerging markets and market shifts and derive related Product Unit sales strategies

  • Develop and increase existing customer base, build-up and maintain trusting, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Interaction and reporting of sales activities with sales managers of other Product Units and Product Group Marketing & Sales responsible

  • Manage and support bid process and preparation of proposals according to the defined authority matrix

  • Provide related reporting and KPIs to internal stakeholders

  • Define and establish future pricing models for standard products / product portfolio

  • Manage the sales budget of the Product Unit


Your profile



  • Master degree in mechanical engineering or business administration

  • 8-10 years of experience in similar position with proven track record

  • Proven knowledge of the space market and solid personal network in the industry

  • Outstanding ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

  • Highly flexible, resilient and reliable team player with confident communication skills to all levels

  • Experience in preparation and implementation of sales strategies

  • Proficient English and German
