International & dynamic B2B insurance environment

As part of our clearly structured growth strategy, our office in Zurich is looking for a dynamic and motivated employee for the role of Senior Communication Manager.

In this position you will be part of the Corporate Function Team based in Zurich and contribute to its success. It will offer you a variety of challenging tasks in a well-established and constantly growing international insurance company.

Your tasks

As part of the Corporate Marketing- & Communication team, you will work with the local Management Team and the local country organizations to put the strategy into practice.This will include:

• Corporate Communication : create, implement and oversee global communication programs


• Website management including publishing, managing SEO and setting KPIs


• Content development of print, online advertising and social media (e.g. blogs)


• Implement social media guidelines and train staff


• Press releases, business reports, marketing collateral and corporate videos


• Support with presentations, articles and speeches


• Key contact for country Marketing & Communication responsible for all communication matters


• Internal communication: intranet, write and publish staff newsletters


• Optimize communication processes and write corresponding guidelines


• Support the professional level of the team, share knowledge and expertise

Your profile

At elipsLife we are looking for a new colleague who will work with us every day with passion to meet our clients' expectations. The perfect candidate has successfully completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing or English and at least 5-7 years’ experience as a Communication Manager in the Insurance- or Finance Industry, preferably in the B2B environment.

Furthermore, the following elements will contribute to the successful execution of this role:

• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential


• Confident communicator and presenter


• A proven track-record of leading communication strategies in other organizations


• Proven track record in Social Media, particularly in B2B


• Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media


• Excellent organizational and planning skills


• Native English speaker or C1 level (in writing and speaking), profound German knowledge (in writing and speaking), further languages as an asset


• Superior project management and time management skills


• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management


• Team player and customer oriented
