IT Business Analyst – Metal Trading and Operations

The successful candidate will elicitate and document business requirements in our Metals and Minerals Division. You are part of our
project team within the IT Department which works on the replacement of our main metal trading application. This position requires
e xperience working within the commodities trading sector and excellent skills in requirements engineering.

The position encompasses: Together with:

• Gather requirements and drive the detailed business analysis Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  in the area of metal trading and logistics/operations in order to collaborate with all levels of Business & IT


• Conduct requirements workshops with representatives from Strong leadership and collaboration skills in a team of subject matter
  the business departments, Finance and Accounting to align experts
  requirements and the application design across departments


• Detail orientation and willingness to fully understand subject domains


• Analysis of the business process changes which result out of
  the replacement of the trading application; support the


• Self-driven and motivated, highly pro-active and resilient attitude;

departments in implementing the changes proud to take ownership and willing to go the extra mile

• Own key project deliverables, such as elaboration and Delivery and customer focused: delivers quality, efficiently, hitting
  documentation of business requirements, creation of design deadlines and within budget

• Assist developers in the technical design, validate the
  imple mentation and take responsibility for user acceptance We look for candidates:
  testing Educated to degree level (or equivalent)


• Proven experience (in minimum 5 years) as Requirements Engineer /

and requires a high level of experience in:
Business Analyst in a trading and operations environment

• The commodity trading or financial services sector




• Fluent in English (oral and written), German is a plus




• Business analysis methodologies




• Delive ring IT projects for business stakeholders
