WECONNEX develops and manages projects to reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). We focus on sustainable business models around water supply, energy, communication and on specific infrastructure for fishermen and farmers by implementing the so-called NEXUS Concept. Currently, we are active in Nepal, Madagascar and Cambodia.

Together with our local organisations, we are currently rolling out new NEXUS Centers and expand our activities. We are now looking for a person to support our operations in St. Gallen (Switzerland):

Internship: CRM & Marketing (60 – 100%)

Duties

• Development and setup of a CRM-strategy for our fundraising, communication and partner management activities including evaluation and implementation of a CRM platform


• Record data into the CRM platform and ensure the database is up-to-date


• Contact potential funders with the goal of driving new funding partners


• Engage with journalists and influencers to create awareness for our approach and projects


• Support the execution of the communications plan – coordinate, produce and publish content for different target groups in German and English


• Support the management of social media, our websites (WordPress) and E-Newsletter


• Coming up with creative ideas, coordinating and preparing proposals, reporting and monitoring of the impacts towards the management

Qualifications

• Strong interest in sustainable business, CRM, marketing & fundraising


• Able to grasp new and complex topics fast, efficient in packaging information in a well-structured proposal and creative in packaging content into juicy stories


• Education or experience in CRM, marketing & communications


• Experienced in using Social Media like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram


• Target oriented, precise and efficient working style


• English and German
