Support the Head Group Credit Risk in the mission to pro-actively manage the largest ABB group-wide Credit Exposures. Evaluating risks and taking decisions to support the Business, Group Functions and Country Credit Risk Community to achieve their objectives while avoiding loss of revenue, investments and material costs because of credit-risk related issues.

Aufgaben :


•Provide stewardship together with Head of GCR across ABB group to the Division Management, regional and country CFOs, global sales and marketing executives, business unit management and controlling, sales engineers, other functions and stakeholders
•Lead the two remote team members (global position holders) in Bangalore, India, of Group Treasury (GF-GTR) Group Credit Risk Management. Develop the teams’ competencies and skills
•Continue to maintain our zero tolerance on slippage relating to integrity and ethics
•Share leadership with GF-GTR Head India operations and Project Manager during absences of Head GCR
•Leading projects or key contributions to improve systems to enhance transparency and credit risk management and represent GF-GTR interests providing instructions to relevant development teams
•Support data analytics to manage global credit risk
•Country Risk Heat Map and Table ~ 183 countries (compliance requirement for ABB around the Globe). By delegation, control before bi-weekly release
•Annual review and recommendation of risk premium applied to elevated risk countries
•Deciding on credit risks for customers, suppliers, key partners. Deciding on credit risks for non-Core banks
•Liaise with and provide stewardship daily to country credit community, LBU/LSU and sales & marketing regarding credit risk related matters
•Lead or materially contribute to education courses for stakeholders regarding credit risk related topics
•Provide contributions to country risk from FDI perspective and participate with Head GCR in task forces relating to countries “on watch”
•Control the work done relating to credit risk in GBS and country or country cluster organizations
•Pro-actively monitor certain countries and other counterparties


Anforderungen:


•Finance professional with at least 10 years of experience as senior credit analyst/decision maker, project manager or team leader in either a corporate or bank/financial institution with global scope or rating or rating agency
•BSc or Master in Business Administration, Physics or Engineering with a postgraduate degree (MBA)
•Team player, enjoying leading, coaching and developing individuals
•Interdisciplinary and networked thinking, sound knowledge and enjoying analysis of countries, industries, companies and financial counterparties and dynamics
•Proven track record of negotiation skills in multicultural environment
