As a member of Strategic Procurement Component Services, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Procurement. In this challenging and critical role, your extensive strategic procurement category management knowledge in components, and experience within the Airline or Aviation MRO environment is key. You will have full responsiblity for key supplier life cycle management, and act as the primary negotiator and escalation point for dispute resolution.
Your tasks
Assess component repair, borrow and exchange business requirements
Determine appropriate procurement strategies to be developed and executed
Develop cost saving measures to demonstrate bottom line impact
Define complex supplier supply chain solutions based on component service business needs
Contract management including drafting, negotiation, implementation and execution
Lead end to end procurement tender process
Act as primary escalation point for dispute resolution
Your profile
Commercial Background with additional Business Administration Degree
Comprehensive knowledge of Strategic Sourcing and Category management
Proven working experience in a similar position
At least 5 years operational and strategic procurement experience, preferentially in the Airline or Aviation MRO environment
Excellent negotiation skills with technical expertise credibility
Strong analytical and presentation skills
Ability to act decisively in high pressure and ever changing environment
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
