DESCRIPTION

Currently we are looking for a
Senior Database Developer with DB2 for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle database


• Work on DB objects development, data validation and analyse existing processes and procedures


• Optimize and tune existing database views, PL/SQL stored procedures and packages


• Prepare technical documentation (software architecture documents)

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and Oracle PL/SQL


• Excellent knowledge of performance tuning


• Experience as DBA


• UNIX/Solaris/Shell scripts knowledge


• Minimum 1 year of banking experience


• Experience in logical and physical data modelling


• Very good analytical and design skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner


• Good experience in Tools such as Toad and Power Designer


• Skilled in debugging und troubleshooting of PL/SQL


• Minimum 1 year of DB2 experience


• DB2 certification is a plus


• Able to work with minimal supervision


• Good English skills, German is a plus
