DESCRIPTION
Currently we are looking for a Business Analysis Team Lead for our Zurich office to make the team even stronger.
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst who has worked primarily in the financial services industry or in the capital market environment.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for the delivery of solid and reliable business requirements that support the Agile project teams in the solution implementation
Work together in close collaboration with the internal and external stakeholders in order to understand their requirements and translate them into functional solutions
Act as the responsible Business Analyst in a Scrum team
Continuously manage and update the backlog as well as the sprint stories
Be responsible for further development of the platform in daily operations
Requirements
B.S. or higher degree
University degree in Finance and/or IT/MIS is an advantage
Several years of experience in banking, finance or insurance sector
Demonstrated track record of business analysis and requirement engineering in the financial industry with focus on post trading processes (clearing, settlement, custody, etc.)
Expertise managing senior business stakeholders
Strong understanding of wealth management advisory or risk management or regulatory reporting domain and proven experience delivering related projects as business analyst/program manager
Able to read and validate software architecture blueprint documentation
Experience with the following software development processes: Scrum, Waterfall, RUP
Efficiency in the following tools: Jira, Agile documentation (Confluence)
Profound experience in QA (defect management)
Experience working independently with limited oversight
Attention to details
Organized and clearly able to document requirements
Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy, demanding and team-oriented environment
Excellent communication, moderation and facilitation skills
Support project management in business case, work packages, estimates, milestones
Practical knowledge of capital markets processes and technologies is an advantage
Fluent verbal and written English mandatory
Fluent German is a plus
