MS SQL Database Developer (m/f)

For our client, one of the greatest global operative financial service company, based in Zurich, we are looking for an MS SQL Database Developer (m/f).

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data warehouses/ODS systems using SQL Server Replication, SSIS, SSAS, and T-SQL scripting


• Rapidly analyze problems, advise and consult business customers, application developers as well as application architects on how to optimize and integrate Microsoft SQL solutions.


• Design, engineer and document solutions for Microsoft SQL Server


• Architect and design new and existing databases and tables


• Create and maintain reports in SSRS using relational and SSAS data sources


• Deliver user friendly and secure solutions that meet high quality standards

Requirements

• A diploma or degree in Computer science


• Several years of experience in the design and development of SQL Server Database solutions


• Constantly updated, profound knowledge about Microsoft SQL, as well as the willingness to continuously increase and expand this knowledge.


• Experience with advanced T-SQL programming and ability to design, build and document long-running processes using workflow tools.


• Good knowledge about software development processes


• Familiar with using SSIS to import data, write calculation Stored Procedures


• Ability to adapt to industry-specific and requirements of the customer


• Strong analytical skills and a curiosity for technical challenges


• Ability to self-organize yourself in large organizational structures


• Comfortable to work in an international environment


• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills


• Work experience in the financial sector (beneficial)


• Microsoft certification (beneficial)
