Front-End Engineer

About the role

• Prototype and develop new features for the 1plusX UI


• Own the core of the UI and decide on frontend technologies to use


• Support full stack engineers in UI development and establish UI best practices


• Research and suggest next-generation data visualizations and User Experiences

About you

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent


• In-depth understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for building large applications


• Hands-on experience with at least one JavaScript framework like Angular, React, or similar


• Knowledge and interest in Git, package managers, build and deployment tools, and unit testing libraries


• Able to communicate well in English


• It is a plus if you have experience with:
  
  
  
  • data visualization libraries (e.g. d3.js)
  
  
  • automated UI testing (e.g. Selenium)
  
  
  • agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum)
  
  
  • mobile UI development
