Work you'll do:

We help CFOs do familiar things differently, make what was exceptional routine and grasp their opportunity to take a strategic leadership role for their organisations in the adoption of digital technologies.

• In this interesting and diverse role, client service will be the main component of your role


• You will provide subject matter expertise for clients and develop innovative solutions to the challenges faced by today?s CFOs


• Working on some unique projects in your field, you will work in partnership with client and Deloitte colleagues on innovative solutions to the pressing challenges faced by today?s CFOs


• You will help to generate insight, participate in workshops to explore options and prepare and deliver presentations to build consensus


• You will network with client and internal colleagues, learn about and promote our business and help to develop service offerings to build our market presence


• You will contribute to the writing of compelling proposals and delivery of client presentations


• You will contribute to recruitment events, interviews and assessment days for appropriate grades

Team:

Our Finance & Performance team specialises in the role of the CFO and how we can help CFOs to strategise about their organisation, future performance, catalyse current performance, optimize the operational efficiency of Finance, and provide effective stewardship to protect against loss. We advise, implement and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, there are certain qualifications you'll have to have. And others that would be really, really nice.

Required:

• Subject matter expertise in one or more domains e.g. performance measurement, external reporting, closing, transactional processes, TOM, etc.


• Comprehensive knowledge of the specific challenges CFOs face in their role e.g. digitisation, regulation


• Significant experience of managing project teams and client stakeholders from diverse backgrounds (Manager)


• A role model for continual self-development


• You have an established network of client contacts


• You communicate confidently in German and English


• Ideally, you already have experience of working in a consulting team within a large professional services organisation 
  

Education and experience:

• A very good university degree (Master's, MBA or PhD) ideally in a Finance related discipline


• At least 4 years? (Senior Consultant) and at least 6 years? (Manager) professional experience in a Finance function or consulting engagements for CFOs
