Project Landscape Architect - Miami USA (f/m)

international firm based in Switzerland with a branch in Miami, Fl.
The Miami-based branch is seeking a creative, enthusiastic candidate for a Project Architect position to
work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.


Project Landscape Architect – Miami USA (f/m)


Responsibilities



  • Coordinate the development of construction drawings, including coordination with project team
    and project managers.

  • Attend project meetings.

  • Maintain project workflow organization including the management of CAD standards, preparation
    of meeting minutes, and maintaining project file structure.

  • Generate and test conceptual design ideas via both hand and computer graphics.

  • Lead special projects that contribute to the operation and innovation of the firm, such as assisting
    with marketing activities, design research, and development of firm documents.


Skills Required



  • Demonstrated leadership in project development processes from concept to construction
    administration, including technical aspects that are inherent to successful projects.

  • Ability to translate conceptual design into construction drawings and details.

  • Experience coordinating projects as a contributing member of a collaborative team.

  • Experience preparing technical specifications.

  • Knowledge and experience with Florida plants is a plus

  • Experience developing construction details.

  • Interest and ability to engage in mentorship and professional guidance of junior staff.

  • Demonstrated production of presentation quality graphics and renderings.

  • Excellent written and verbal skills to interface with team members and clients.

  • Working knowledge of Florida plant materials desirable.

  • AutoCAD; Adobe Creative Suite; Microsoft Office; Sketchup (required); Revit (preferred)

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
    and 3+ years of experience is required.
