Your Role and Responsibilities

This Architect role reports to the Data Migration function leader, under CIO Enterprise Applications at Kyndryl. This role will develop the core ‘product’ for SAP migrations from ECC to S4. While initially for SAP product version upgrades, this capability will also provide efficient and robust instance management for development landscape needs. The individuals will address the migration process, including current structure mapping through deployment and use, and drive initial Kyndryl capability. Ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and use of SLT. Some internal candidates exist in the IBM CIO org, but external candidates will likely also be required to staff the full team.

Responsibilities:
• Support SAP migrations from ECC to S4, by developing the core ‘product’ for migrations, using SAP’s SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation) utility along with Kyndryl proprietary process and tooling
• Address the migration process and drive initial Kyndryl capability, including structure mapping through deployment and use
• Perform initial SAP product version upgrades
• Provide efficient and robust instance management for development landscape needs (development, test, staging)

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Bachelor’s degree (graduate degree preferred) in software engineering, computer science, information technology or related field
• 10+ years of experience working with SAP product nomenclature
• Demonstrated experience with SAP S/4HANA and with migrations from ECC to S4
• Extensive knowledge and use of SLT
