We are looking for a high energy, experienced and focused individual to provide leadership for our CX Influencers team in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

We help our customers future-proof their business and become more successful in this priority for digital transformation.


The responsibilities of this role are focused on growing the awareness and progress of customer engagements through the lens of both the Oracle CX narratives as well as the practical reality of real world experince. You will provide both structured guidance to enable our team of CX Influencers to constantly deliver value in 1: Many and 1: Account engagements and work as a player manager delivering your own engagements as well.


 


Purpose and mission of the EMEA CX Influencersteam:



  • This team is responsible for being the customer facing mouthpiece of the Oracle Cloud CX go-to-market strategy across EMEA to help drive overall growth of our business

  • To drive CX sales growth by learning, optimizing and delivering 1:Many and 1:Account speaking engagements  EMEA-wide strategy in alignment with Oracle’s objectives and programs:

  • Learn and own the core Go-To-Market messaging from both HQ Product Marketing and the EMEA Product development strategy team

  • We support strategic sales opportunities.

  • We deliver subject matter expertise through external Thought Leadership

  • We work with Product Strategy & Product Developmentproviding customer feedback to drive innovation in our messaging and positioning

  • We bring business practitioner expertise to C-Suite conversations.


The EMEA CX Influencers Manager role supports the objectives above through their inspirational leadership and CX domain experience. We are an organization in transformation and in this role, you will be a key part of achieving that transformation by helping our people shift their mindset on how we deliver value and service to our customers, as well as helping our customers recognize that Oracle is changing by refocusing on our customers and their success.


 


 


 


 


Key Responsibilities:


External



  • Act as the trusted advisor to further client relationships and drive additional opportunities vs regional and local competitors

  • Work with clients at the C-level, exploring and understanding their issues and business requirements, providing examples of similar customers and how they have leveraged Oracle's products and services to drive business success


Internal



  • Act as the linchpin and leader of the CX Influencers team, sharing and evangelizing about the opportunity they present to both sales and demand generation

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for overall growth of Oracle CX Cloud

  • Become the safe pair of hands for demand generation, known to engage audiences and deliver compelling messages through world class story telling in CX.


Desired Skills and Experience


This person should be well known among CX and business leaders and will have worked in the CX market space and understand CX workflow including Advertising, Marketing, Sales and Commerce and Service, including business KPIs and buying persona pain points.


Preferred Qualifications:   



  • 10-15+ years of experience in CX or in the CX technology space, with increasing levels of responsibility including minimum 5+years management experience

  • A respected CX practitioner or CX technology leader within the broader CX community

  • Program management experience, ideally Evangelization program leadership experience in the CX industry

  • An extensive network of contacts accumulated over the course of their career in CX 

  • Experience developing CX strategies for client organizations and the ability to become a “Trusted Advisor” to senior executives

  • Proven experience being influential and persuasive while advising C-level Executives and Staff

  • Experience working in a large, complex global team environment to manage stakeholders and lead change management

  • Executive presence: excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present at senior management levels

  • Strong project management, facilitation, and organization skills


 

 

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

 Manages a team that is responsible for identifying relevant new business opportunities and designing "go-to-market" plans to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Consistently meets with potential customers and current customers to build pipeline.



Manages, through other managers, a team of business development representatives for a territory/region. The team is actively and frequently customer facing, providing the value proposition to business or org leaders, qualifying opportunities, and selling the value of the oracle solution. Provides operations management of lead qualification functions. Contributes to strategic and tactical planning for the division. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and career development of staff. Participates in the recruiting process and makes hiring decisions. Manages budget.



Experience qualifying prospects and customers; understanding of the sales cycle process. Strong leadership skills. Strong Oracle product knowledge. BA/BS preferred. Experience managing staff. Assist in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives. Regularly interact across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Able to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.
