You work together with the engineers of Swisscom's inventory systems and platforms. On a systems level, you make sure that systems are implemented according to design, and you help to solve realization problems. On an enterprise architecture level, you make a valuable contribution to our three pillars: Evolving the architectural vision, aligning the architecture across the company, and enforcing the architecture governance.

Our network inventory systems are one of Swisscom's most valuable assets. They manage our network infrastructure from cabling over network devices to routers and logical configurations. They are the basis for future automation of our network operations processes.
You are responsible for defining and evolving the architecture of our inventory systems. Working with interdisciplinary DevOps teams, you drive the architectural runway. That is, elaborating architecture guidelines, specifying solution concepts, and supporting the implementation. By closely interacting and aligning with the enterprise architecture community, you ensure company-wide architecture principles are followed.

Your professional profile


  • Perrenial experience as architect at a service provider with a track record of designing, automating and operating distributed database systems

  • Deep understanding of information and business process modelling, service management and process automation



  • Master's degree (Uni/UAS/technical college) in computer science or a similar field

  • Practical experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe), modern operational paradigms (SRE), and standard process fameworks (TMF, ITIL)

  • Know-how and preferably experience with modern real-time data analytics technologies such as Kafka, Amazon Redshift, SAP Hana or Terradata

  • Excellent in translating complex architecture concepts into input for the engineering teams

  • Excellent storytelling and moderation skills



  • Very good English and German

  • Highly autonomous and reliable, not afraid to make decisions
