Ready for Swisscom

As a technical architect, you support the transition and setup of systems in the cloud. This role is customer-facing and covering the pre-sales phase as well as the implementation phase.

• Presentations, presales, workshops, consulting, and hands-on PoCs


• Teamlead and help with best practices, security, and scalability


• Define cloud competencies and next-generation cloud automation


• Technical liaison between customers, delivery teams, and support


• Maximise customer benefit from technology investment

In this 80 to 100% job you have the possibility to work partly from home.

You travel up to 20% of your working time within Switzerland.

You are working in a small international team. We help customers to move from traditional application architectures in local data centres to cloud-native setups with one of the global cloud providers.

Your professional profile

• Minimum 5 years of public cloud architecture and design experience, both on infrastructure and application levels


• Direct experience migrating applications from the enterprise to public cloud providers (e.g. Amazon, Google, or Microsoft)

• Architect certification for one of the following: Google, Azure, AWS preferred


• Experience helping development teams build and deploy microservices based applications in public cloud.


• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and other Container Orchestration tools

What else sets you apart

• Enjoys working in a team and taking on responsibilities


• Comfortable with presenting in front of customers

• Very good English and German
