Job Description



  • In the framework of the broader Global Communications strategy, the ‘’Senior Manager, Editorial Content’’ is responsible for content production, management, editing and quality

  • Work in conjunction with Global Communications’ Business Partners, Channel Planning team and design team, the ‘’Senior Manager, Editorial Content’’ delivers copy that aligns with and supports the overall corporate objectives, while educating and motivating colleagues who have disparate levels of understanding

  • She/he must have the vision to communicate in a 360 fashion via a variety of channels (live, paid, owned, social) in a way that engages and inspires employees to become advocate for Galderma


Job Responsibilities


Communications strategy



  • Develop and implement storytelling agenda to bring “red thread” across all communications materials regardless of issuing origin

  • Provide recommendation on most appropriate communications approach, which includes development, design, production, presentation, evaluation and analysis, to name a few

  • Develop and execute editorial strategy and stylebook to increase reach and readership

  • Keep abreast of new communications tendencies

  • Use data and feedback from users to help evaluate and enhance the value of a set of written materials and websites


Copywriting



  • Write and/or edit executive communications, speeches, press releases, social posts and internal editorial materials to maximize impact and results

  • Establish, manage and execute all editorial processes, standards, guidelines and style guides to ensure brand consistency, establish quality benchmarks and produce optimal editorial content

  • Manage external vendors, including brand communications agencies, graphic designers, etc.

  • Monitor performance of communications


Minimum Requirements



  • Bachelor's or Master's (preferable) Degree in Comms or Journalism

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in communications in a global company

  • Excellent writing skills in English

  • Experience providing advice and counsel to managers

  • Demonstrated ability to navigate through complex organizations and develop networked relationships
