Job Description

Over the past 18 months the Straumann Digital Training and Education team have implemented an eLearning program aimed at building internal capability throughout the organization. This has provided a strong foundation which we are now looking to further expand. The scope of this expansion covers both the further development of the internal eLearning program as well as the introduction of a customer facing eLearning program.

The main purpose of this role is to lead the development and implementation of this eLearning expansion.

• In collaboration with users and subject matter experts, identify the most appropriate training methodologies and content required to achieve the desired learning outcomes of a diverse range of learners.


• Create storyboards, audio and video scripts, case studies, learning activities and assessment strategies, leveraging established pedagogic design principles.


• Create effective and engaging eLearning content in SCORM format, using the course authoring tool Articulate 360.


• Develop structured learning paths, certification programs, assessments and knowledge checks designed to reinforce and measure learning outcome achievement.


• Maintain and develop eLearning course templates, models, standards and procedures


• Manage eLearning content on host platforms including Learning Management System, AEM microsite, SharePoint, You Tube and other social media platforms.


• Follow a data driven approach to evaluate success and business impact of eLearning programs


• Collaborate with regional and country organizations to support any required local adaptations of the global eLearning program


• Active involvement, as part of a larger project team, in establishing a new customer facing LMS

Qualifications

• Academic degree in educational design or an equivalent combination of education and work experience


• Proven track record in leveraging learning design principles to develop eLearning concepts and materials


• Expert user of Articulate 360 course authoring tools


• Experience in working with learning management systems and other platforms used to host learning programs and material


• Competent in video and image editing


• Experience in dental or other MedTech fields is a big plus


• Fluent in English


• This role can be held in one of the following locations: Switzerland (Basel), Germany (Freiburg, Munich, Berlin, Chemnitz, Leipzig)

Additional Information

This position reports to the Head of Training and Education - Digital Business Unit and is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Basel, Switzerland.
