The Technical & GMP Trainer reports into the Head of Training Biologics Operations and is responsible for developing and delivering technical and GMP related trainings at Biologics Operations in Visp.
This is accomplished by continuously improving the training programs in collaboration with the site training team and ensuring that training programs fulfill quality and business needs.
In addition, this role works closely with Biologics Operations project teams and centers of competence for training at various Lonza sites. The role will coach and mentor trainees in an informal leadership capacity and is a role model within the organization, understanding and promoting GMP mindset and behaviors that drive a safety & quality culture.
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for effective and efficient training of Biologics Operations staff from operator level up to scientist level supported by the local training infrastructure.
Provide training in classroom and shop floor settings, including assessment and documentation of trainees’ competencies and qualifications.
Supports developing training programs as well as related material to suit training of different levels.
Liaises with according Biologics Operations team to ensure training programs align with quality and business goals and support functional objectives.
Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements:
Bachelor or Master in Biologics , Biotechnology, Life Science or related working experiences
Previous experience in GMP regulated pharmaceutical
Training expert in scientific or technical environment
Ability to identify non-compliance and gaps from quality standards
Structured, precise and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions; agile, highly motivated and dynamic drive
German and English good command are required
