films and microsystem technology.

Application Scientist (Europe)

We are looking for highly motivated materials scientists, with extensive experience in Nanoindentation, to join
our applications team. If you are interested in bringing our innovative nanoindenters to the European market,
we would be excited to receive your full application.

Extensive, hands‐on experience in nanoindentation

• Good understanding of metallurgy fundamentals and the related testing principles


• Ability to quickly understand a research project and enjoys the interaction with other researchers


• 'Hands‐on’ personality, willing to conduct test‐measurements and demonstrations


• Excellent spoken and written English language skills are required


• Willingness to travel (5% ‐
  20% international travel)

Your tasks:

• Identify and develop potential customers in the area of academic research with a primary focus on the market in
  Europe


• Evaluate the scientific work of our target customers to identify opportunities how the FemtoTools products can
  create value


• Present the most suitable combination of products and measurements to our potential customers


• Pre‐sales and post‐sales technical assistance and product education, issue quotations, sales and after‐sales
  support services for our customers in Europe
