About Us:

SL AM manages EUR 250bn and is among Switzerland’s top three institutional asset managers. Its infrastructure private equity investment team is managing close to EUR 6 billion on behalf of Swiss Life and external clients. Our mandate is focused on direct investments in core, core+ and value-add infrastructure assets in OECD countries with a particular focus on Europe and North America. Over the last 8 years we have executed 31 direct infrastructure investments. The mandate is currently expanding to focus on control and co-control investments of up to EUR 500m. The international and dynamic team is based in Zurich and consists of 25 investment professionals with extensive international investment experience in infrastructure and private equity. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Investment Manager Infrastructure Private Equity (f/m) taking part in all aspects of private equity infrastructure investing from deal sourcing to portfolio management.

Your area of responsibility:

• Supporting origination and execution of investments




• Responsibility for individual due diligence workstreams




• Extensive financial modelling and company valuation




• Responsibility for preparation of investment memoranda and participation in investment committee discussions




• Management / monitoring of portfolio companies




• Independent research on sectors and investment opportunities

Your profile:

• Strong academic profile from a top-tier university or business school




• Up to 3 years of full-time experience in an M&A / leverage finance role at an investment bank, infrastructure private equity fund or a major consultancy




• Keen interest in infrastructure investments




• Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills and understanding of corporate finance concepts




• Strong motivation and interpersonal skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and to quickly grasp complex topics with a pro-active can-do attitude




• Proficiency in written and spoken English required, German or another European language is a plus
