INTERN IN COMPUTER SCIENCE/ENGINEERING FOR

THE DEVELOPMENT OF A MYSQL DATABASE (3

MONTHS)

L.E.S.S. SA is an industrial company specialized in the development and production of high-tech
products in the fields of technical lighting. The R&D department, located in Renens (VD) is looking
for a highly motivated Intern. We offer a challenging position in a fast-growing and innovative
high-tech company with an open and dynamic team.

Your Role

• To develop a MySQL database to record all parameters of L.E.S.S. processes


• To adapt and modify the database in collaboration with the engineering team


• To setup an updatable database, and develop database backup tools


• Develop user-friendly atomic tools to populate the database with the physical
  parameters which are recorded during the L.E.S.S. processes

Your Profile

• Bachelor degree (HES or EPF) in Engineering or Computer science


• Good hand-on experience in MySQL, PHP & Python


• Creative and motivated to learn and work with new tools


• Experience in the following language is a plus: VBA
