Interdisciplinary and specific training as part of the Career Start program as an opportunity for personal and professional development. The opportunity to spend 4-6 months working in a functionally related area as a chance to build networks in different areas of the bank. Permanent employment with the prospect of a meaningful position in Credit Risk Management Central Lombard Group after completing the Career Start program.


Your field of responsibility


You will hold a meaningful and dynamic credit risk role within the Central Lombard Group of the Swiss Universal Bank (SUB) and International Wealth Management (IWM) divisions. There will be close collaboration and interaction with cross-functional teams and internal partners such as Relationship Managers, First line of Defense, Sales and Trading, Operations, Legal and Compliance and assessment of collateralized (Lombard) transactions in the HNWI- or UHNWI-segments. The credit analysis is to include the full range of risk assessment such as exposure, collateral (e.g. concentrations across all asset classes and derivatives) and transactions featuring non-standard counterparty types or bespoke (cross-pledge) credit structures along with Legal, Cross-Border and Reputational Risk considerations. You will also manage and monitor a portfolio of HNWI-/UHNWI on- and offshore clients of a dedicated Private Banking Market Area and prepare credit requests for Senior Credit Management, be actively involved and support risk-related projects and New Business Initiatives.


The Central Lombard Group is the Second line of Defense for Lombard loans for both SUB and IWM Private Banking clients. This very dynamic team is driving leading credit risk management solutions and enabling controlled growth in Lombard Lending as a strategic product for our bank.   • Bachelor or Master in Economic Science or Banking & Finance, CFA or GARP qualification as an advantage

  • Are you passionate about international Finance- and Economic markets and developments?

  • Proficient in German and English, further language skills would be an advantage

  • You possess sound analytical skills matched with confident communication and interpersonal skills interacting with demanding internal partners

  • Ability to produce high quality, accurate work, under pressure and to tight deadlines
