Job reference: WD-0007465 What's the role? In this role you will be researching and implementing advanced positioning and navigation algorithms for indoor navigation in construction environments. What does the role involve? This role involves design, implementation and testing of prototype visual computing software algorithms using C++/Python/ROS. The application of this work spans autonomous robots, mapping and indoor navigation. Full understanding of calibration methods of sensors such as cameras, IMUs and Lidar and their impact on navigation is required. A mind for detail is needed to achieve the best results. Results will be applied to various robotic systems. An ability to run tests and analyse results is fundamental. • You bring a MSc or PhD degree in Robotics, Geomatics, Computer Vision or equivalent experience


• You have 3+ years of experience in visual computing and algorithm development


• Strong experience in working with camera, IMU and LIDAR sensors


• Experience in machine learning is considered as an additional asset


• You appreciate working in a multi-expert international team


• The willingness to grow and contribute to various projects is something you`re looking for


• You bring a drive to do interesting and impactful work
