In order to reinforce our AOG team in Basel we are currently recruiting for an

AOG Technician B1 (Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer)

As an AOG Technician B1 at Jet Aviation, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of AOG support to Jet Aviations customers. The team of AOG technicians provides 24/7 service coverage to respond to customer AOG requests and recover the aircraft as quickly as possible. Excellent technical knowledge of aircraft combined with comprehensive and focused customer communication builds customer confidence in Jet Aviations superior ability to solve their aircrafts problem, no matter where in the world or when.

 

Description/Tasks:

• Dispatches to customer AOG request as per 24/7 roster


• Liaises with customer to manage local handling:

  - Airport access

  - Tools and parts logistic

  - Off-core return

• Manages communication with OEM or Jet Aviation base maintenance station when required


• Perform aircraft recovery work resulting in Release to Service in accordance with applicable airworthiness regulations


• Provides final technical documentation package to relevant customer parties


• Provides regular customer and AOG duty feedback


• Supports development of knowledge base with AOG Duty Managers

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements

• Technical apprenticeship or technical certificate in the aviation environment, several years experience as a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (B1); previous experience on aircraft products  Gulfstream is a must)


• B1 license and type rating(s) on Gulfstream products is (are) required, type ratings on Bombardier, Falcon, Embraer, Airbus & Boeing are a plus


• In depth understanding of the aerospace MRO industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework
