ROLE PURPOSE/MISSION:


 


In this role you will create and manage the creation and organisation of store design (SD) opening projects around the world (EMEA, Americas, Travel Retail WW, Asia and Oceania). You will be predominantly assigned to projects in one Region, however you will be eager to cover different projects and flexible to support other Regions whenever necessary. You will develop and advance the brand's SD architectural concept and visual merchandising (VM). You will work with regional teams and external partners to ensure that yearly opening targets, guidelines and processes are respected as well as to ensure company objectives and to maintain brand consistency.


 


MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:


 


Manage and supervise SD projects around the world, and ensure they respect brand guidelines and reflect La Prairie values of Swissness, luxury, refinement, and discovery. Keep the SD concept in touch with trends. Communicate, collaborate and follow-up regularly with regional teams and make sure that opening dates, processes, and guidelines are respected. Communicate with and manage external partners to ensure smooth execution.


 


SD project deployment:



  • Create, manage, and follow up on all stores, from design to after installation, in association with regional architects and teams

  • Develop plans, elevations and 3Ds, execute technical drawings for design projects they're responsible for

  • Guide and work with regional SD/VM Managers and key partners to ensure a globally consistent brand approach while being responsive to local needs

  • Participate in logistics for sourcing and production; support Procurement for more effective and efficient sourcing, and participate in identifying and training pre-selected suppliers in each region

  • Manage occasional specific projects / events (marketing convention, Cannes and Singapore Tax Free, Art Basel, etc.), from design to installation


 


Architectural concept evolution:



  • Participate in constant renewal of SD/VM concepts, develop details and follow-up on implementation (encourage innovation, anticipate trends)

  • Look for and create new ideas in materials, technology, bespoke furniture…

  • Create and continually update the Architectural Chart

  • Survey competitor activities


 


Guideline and process development:



  • Ensure that standard SD/VM guidelines are respected, so that the brand always respects the global vision

  • Maintain and ensure proper use of SD approval and execution processes and workflows. Accompany and permanent contact with regions and partners

  • Support and build trust in the worldwide SDVM Community by regular feedback exchange, workshops, etc.


 


 


YOUR PROFILE:



  • Architect degree, with the ability to create architect's drawings

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in architecture and interior design for a luxury brand, preferably in a global environment

  • Fully knowledgeable and abreast of all architecture-related software

  • Creative, curious, organized, autonomous, enthusiastic, passionate, interest in art, architecture, and design

  • Uses good judgment to make decisions, solution-driven

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, collaborative, team-player

  • Good communication skills

  • Fluent English

  • PC/Mac software: AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), 3ds Max
