Senior Accountant and Accounting Digitalization Lead (80-100%)

Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time Description: 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic person to join our Accounting team in our headquarters. 

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

• Lead digitalization and efficiency projects in accounting for our headquarters and support roll-out to other group affiliates in collaboration with IT department


• Responsible for period end closings and financial reporting to our parent company


• Manage general ledger postings and asset accounting tasks


• Ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles


• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and workflows


• Perform payment runs and bank reconciliations


• Ensure effective internal controls for the assigned accounting areas


• Provide support during internal & external audits

 

What we’re looking for:

 

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar position


• Experience with digital accounting workflows


• Independent, proactive and accurate


• Sees change as an opportunity to do things better and faster


• Hands-on personality and good team player


• Good communication and project management skills


• In depth understanding of accounting and reporting processes and procedures


• Profound knowledge of IFRS


• Fluent English language skills in writing and speaking


• Proficient in MS Excel, SAP FI/CO

 

The position will report to the Manager Accounting/Treasury.
