Regulatory Manager

Contract Type:  Permanent - full-time Description: 

 


We are looking for a passionate Regulatory Manager who will ensure LP’s compliance to global cosmetic and environmental laws and internal guidelines and roadmaps and who will foster LP’s sustainability initiatives.


 


Your responsibilities


 



  • Regulatory and Environmental Law, Risk Management

    • Follow, understand, and interpret international cosmetic and environmental regulations with focus in EU & US

    • Follow, understand, and interpret IFRA

    • Actively advise LP on regulations and perform a risk assessment on regulatory changes

    • Foresee and steer product changes due to regulatory amendments to mitigate LP’s risk and steer internal projects

    • Manage external consultants, suppliers and safety assessors and spread relevant knowledge within LP




  • Manage internal processes to ensure LP’s compliance and support product launches

    • Define formula test design, release efficacy tests according safety and assess LP goods according ADR

    • Support Strategic Innovation and Science regarding regulatory, strategy and supplier aspects

    • Support Consumer Affairs and Registration


  • Cosmetic claim check and substantiation



    • Check claims and their wording and substantiate claims for re-formulations

    • Coordinate efficacy studies and manage the contact to the test institutes


  • Fragrance Management/Raw Material Management

    • Keep LP’s fragrances and raw materials compliant

    • Rework current fragrances according to latest regulatory updates and guidelines

    • Mange INCI database and check their compliance



 


Your profile


 



  • Technical academic qualification or comparable education

  • Long-standing work experience in Regulatory Affairs within cosmetic industry or equivalent

  • Organizational skills

  • Communicative personality

  • Fluent in German and English
