Activities

Casale SA is currently searching a young and motivated Cost Control Engineer, who will be part of our Project Management team.

The ideal candidate will support the EPC projects by preparing reports and controlling activities, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and according to best practices. Moreover he/she will cooperate with the PM and the Project engineers in supervising and planning the projects, promptly suggesting corrective and improving actions in line with corporate procedures and working instructions.

Main tasks:

• Provide support to PM in setting up the Cost Controlling system and managing the execution budget


• Check on a monthly basis financial progress related to the project (in terms of actual and committed costs) and, based on the  job physical progress status and the updated time schedule to completion, the risk and opportunities involved


• Support the PM in updating the forecast to completion regarding costs, billing, cash-in, guarantees, hedges


• Enter and save project budget/forecast/actual in the corporate Business Intelligence system


• Draw up project control internal reports and presentation to the PM


• Update, along with the PM,  the project lifespan forecast on a quarterly basis, and liaise with the controlling area for budget and quarterly forecast preparation

Education

University degree in Management Engineering or in Economics

Languages

English fluency required (w/s), min. B2-C1

Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint)


• SAP knowledge will be considered a plus


• Solid analytical skills


• Strong interest in Controlling


• Reliable, precise and detailed-oriented talent


• Willing to travel

Experience

Min. of 3-5 years work experience with EPC contracts
