Our team is a multi-disciplinary force working in a variety of engineering fields, from developing our own unique electronics, working with spatial technologies (GPS and Galileo), developing our own software solutions (embedded, web and mobile) and meta-analysis of data (big data, analytics).


The team is young, dynamic, and has grown considerably since the company was founded in 2011. The solutions offered by GEOSATIS SA are already in use in multiple countries.


Job Description


We are looking for a person (M/F) to join the R&D team dedicated to the hardware development of the company’s products. For this position, the company is looking for an Electronic Engineer.


Responsibilities


Your main tasks will be :



  • Design new electronic circuits or products, including component research and comparison, electronic schematic and layout, integration in a standard or custom casing, prototyping, test and design validation

  • Find and evaluate solutions to improve existing projects, based on customer feedback or known issues

  • Test design and implementation to validate the functionalities according to the specifications

  • Manufacturing (in house or sub-contracted) of prototypes or test equipment for internal use.


Requirements



  • MSc or BSc from a leading university or institute of technology

  • Deep knowledge of electronic circuit design, schematic and layout (Altium designer)

  • Basic knowledge in embedded software development on microcontrollers (ARM, Xmega)

  • Knowledge of mechanical design and/or Linux is a plus

  • Interest and creativity in solving challenges while developing new devices

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with a cross-functional team, as well as autonomously

  • French and/or English written and oral skills (other languages a plus)
