Our “Micro & Nano Systems” division, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland is looking for a

Your mission

Your main mission will be to develop aerosol jet printing (AJP) process for the high resolution printing of functional inks onto two- and three- dimensional components and to participate in the acquisition and management of multidisciplinary projects at the interface between nanomaterials, micro-/nano-fabrication and additive manufacturing processes.

Your responsibilities

• Development of several printing processes including ink formulation and optimization of printing parameters


• Use of printing technology for the fabrication of functional devices such as sensors


• Test and performance evaluation of printed demonstrators & prototypes


• Elaboration of new concepts at the interface between additive manufacturing, micro-/nano-fabrication and surface functionalization techniques


• Management of multidisciplinary projects internally and externally


• Acquisition of industrial projects and government-funded research projects


• Promotion and reinforcement of our technology portfolio through patents, publications and conference

Your profile

Know-how

• Master or PhD degree in Micro-/Nano-technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Materials Science and Engineering or equivalent


• Several years of experience (min 3 years) in multidisciplinary projects targeting the development of innovative micro-/nano-devices


• Strong experience with (printing) instrumentation and related software, familiar with programming languages


• Knowledge in ink processing (formulation, deposition, curing, …)


• Previous experience in project acquisition and project management considered as a plus


• Professional proficiency in English

• Team player with good communication skills to interact constructively with our colleagues and partners
